† Zentralfriedhof

Zentralfriedhof cemetery † Vienna, Austria. One of the most amazing places I have ever been. There lies the remains of Beethoven and many other composers, but that grand and perfectly manicured part of the cemetery wasn't was interested me. I was taken with was the old Jewish section; at the beginning of the 20th century many Jews left the city and the graves were abandoned. The graves have never been kept up since, many overgrown with vines and broken to pieces. There is this creepy feeling of exploration as you walk through the many miles of tombs being taken over by the wild vegetation.
